Born and raised in Alicante, Spain, it is no surprise that my favourite travel experiences always involve trying the local cuisine. Since I started my career in the travel industry over 20 years ago, I have been fortunate enough to have travelled much of Europe, staying in both hotels and villas. For me, an ideal holiday will combine exploring new places with a healthy amount of down time: there is nothing better than an afternoon in the sun with a good book (and a glass of wine!).
