Describe the perfect day in your destination?

For me, a perfect Algarve day is a slow morning by the pool in the sunshine, then jumping in the car and heading off to explore. I love driving around sightseeing, discovering little villages, coastal views and places you might not find in a guidebook. Finish that with a sunset drink and good food and that’s pretty much perfection.

What are your top travel tips for your destination? 

Get out and explore. The Algarve has so much more than the main resorts. Hire a car if you can, take the scenic routes, stop in places that catch your eye and enjoy the slower pace of life. Some of the best moments here are the unplanned ones.

What local cuisine would you recommend to people staying in your destination?  

I’m a big fan of Portuguese steak and a good bifana, proper comfort food that’s full of flavour. And while you’re here, you have to enjoy the fresh seafood too.

What experiences would you recommend to our customers in your destination?

A boat trip along the coast is a must, especially to see the caves and hidden beaches. I’d also recommend exploring places like Lagos, enjoying long lunches in traditional villages, finding a great sunset spot, and just embracing that laid-back Algarve lifestyle. Some of the best experiences here are often the simplest ones.
