Describe the perfect day in your destination?

I’d start my day with a cup of tea, taking my time as I get ready to head to my favorite yoga class. Everything feels just right—the weather is beautiful, and there’s a lovely energy from the people around me. Afterwards, I’d make my way to a quiet, hidden beach, spending a few peaceful hours by the sea. Later, I’d return home to freshen up before heading into Lefkada Town for meeting my friends for a lovely dinner at one of the many inviting restaurants.

What are your top travel tips for your destination?

One of the best tips is to visit the waterfalls early in the season, when they’re still full from the winter rains. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, making it a perfect spot to relax and

connect with nature. Another must-see is Cape Doukato Lighthouse. It’s absolutely worth the trip for its breathtaking views over the surrounding islands and the endless blue of the sea—an unforgettable experience.

What local cuisine would you recommend to people staying in your destination?

I’d definitely recommend trying the fresh fish and seafood, as it’s a big part of the local cuisine. Greek chefs have a real talent for turning simple, high-quality ingredients into

incredible dishes. A must-try is traditional fish soup, made with a mix of fresh fish, vegetables, potatoes, and finished with a squeeze of lemon for a bright, comforting flavor. Seafood pasta is another favorite, full of rich, fresh tastes that really capture the essence of

the sea. 

If seafood isn’t your preference, there are plenty of equally delicious options. Classics like souvlaki and pastitsio are always satisfying, and you can’t go wrong with a selection of traditional dips like tzatziki, served with warm bread. There’s truly something for everyone to enjoy.

What experiences would you recommend to our customers in your destination?

One experience I’d highly recommend is an island-hopping boat trip around Lefkada. It’s a fantastic way to explore some of the most beautiful white-sand beaches and charming seaside villages in the area. Everything is usually very well organized, with time set aside for swimming, relaxing on the beach, exploring local shops, and enjoying a meal along the way.
