Describe the perfect day in your destination?

A perfect day in Marrakech starts early, exploring the beautiful Bahia Palace and Saadian Tombs before the city gets busy. I’d pause for a fresh orange juice on a rooftop overlooking Jemaa el Fnaa, then enjoy a long lunch tucked away in a riad garden. An afternoon hammam is the perfect way to relax before heading back out in the evening to experience the energy, food and music of Jemaa el Fnaa after dark.

What are your top travel tips for your destination?

Dress modestly, especially in the medina, and always carry bottled water. Bargaining in the souks is expected — just keep it friendly and fair. The medina is easy to get lost in, so an offline map is useful, and cash is essential for taxis and smaller shops. For day trips, booking with a trusted local operator makes everything much easier.

What local cuisine would you recommend to people staying in your destination?

Tagines are a must, especially kefta or slow cooked lamb. Don’t miss pastilla, a delicious sweet and savory pastry, or couscous, traditionally eaten on Fridays. Street food like msemen pancakes, briouats and mint tea are also well worth trying for a real taste of Marrakech.

What experiences would you recommend to our customers in your destination?

Exploring the souks with a guide is a great way to understand the city, and a private cooking class in a riad is always popular. For something special, a sunrise hot air balloon ride is unforgettable. Beyond the city, I’d highly recommend a day trip to the Atlas Mountains, Essaouira, or a dinner under the stars in the Agafay Desert.
