Describe the perfect day in your destination?

Waking up on a beautiful Island like Corfu is about leaning into the ‘slow’ rhythm of the Mediterranean. I skip the crowded tourist hubs and aim for a day that balances emerald water solitude with that effortless Venetian charm.

What are your top travel tips for your destination?

North Corfu is characterized by rugged cliffs, emerald bays, and traditional mountain villages. To make the most of this region, you’ll want to focus on early starts to beat the crowds at the famous costal spots and dedicated afternoons for the quieter mountain inland. Essential places to visit are Cape Drastis, Porto Timoni, Loggas beach, Old Peritheia, Mount Pantokrator, Paleokastritsa and Lakones.

What local cuisine would you recommend to people staying in your destination?

I would definitely recommend eating in old fashioned tavernas where you can experience dishes ‘tis yiayias’  Grandma’s food. For example kokkinisto, kleftiko, pastitsio and also a traditional Greek salad with feta. Desserts such as baclavas and orange pie are a must.

What experiences would you recommend to our customers in your destination?

I would recommend a visit to Cape Drastis, the northernmost point of the Island to see white clay cliffs and turquoise waters. Porto Timoni beach ‘a double beach’ featuring two distinct bays back-to-back. To reach it you must hike about 20 minutes from the village of Afionas, but the panoramic views of the twin beaches are worth the effort. La Grotta Bar, tucked into a cliffside in paleokastritsa, this iconic bar is famous for its diving board and evening illuminations. It is a perfect spot for snorkelling or enjoying a cocktail as the sun begins to set. Kassiopi is a charming fishing village featuring a harbour-side fortress and a variety of small, pebbly beaches . It is a great base for renting a boat to explore the hidden coves of the northeast coast. Agni Beach is a small bay legendary for its seaside tavernas. many arrive by boat to enjoy fresh seafood and a long lazy lunch right at the water’s edge.
