About the villa

St George's House is set in the hills up above Kassiopi with far reaching views across the sea to the mountains of Albania. Utterly private, the house has no near neighbours and is perfect for those looking for a peaceful stay. Outside, the spacious terraces provide plenty of space for outdoor living, a beautiful garden and gorgeous infinity pool looking down to the sea below, and behind the house the hills are perfect walking territory. Inside, the house is light, spacious and stylishly decorated with beautiful stone feature walls downstairs.

A large entrance hall with dining table opens to a small study and to the left, a very comfortable sitting room with French windows facing the sea. The large kitchen is particularly attractive and well equipped, with a dining table for 10 and opening onto the outside dining terrace. All five bedrooms are upstairs and first in the corridor, the four poster double bedroom with bathroom en suite opens to a shared balcony with superb sea views. A double bedroom with shower room opposite, a twin bedroom with bathroom opposite and a larger double bedroom all have sea views and access to the shared balcony. To the back of the house facing the hills is a twin bedroom with bathroom en suite. St George's House is 2.6km from the restaurants, bars and shops of Kassiopi and within easy reach of the alluring beaches of Corfu’s North East coast.

Average weather

Capital of Corfu’s north-east, Kassiopi is a thriving harbour and resort. Within a ring of souvenir and beach shops, it has a heart of gold: a cleanly-paved harbour, well-tended gardens, benches for the weary, and smart shops, restaurants, and cafés. Pleasure craft and cruise boats jostle for mooring space with small trawlers. Canons point out to sea, their threat long faded, against a backdrop of stylish Kassiopi villas and apartments rising in terraces from the harbour. A holiday in the hamlet of Kelia lies on the hillside above, within walking distance of the town.

There is no better way to explore the coastline and discover deserted bays and coves with their translucent water to add to the overall enjoyment of your holiday. Small boats and speedboats can be pre-booked with our UK office prior to departure and we recommend early reservations, especially in July and August, as availability is limited. Smaller size boats can still be hired without a licence which remains unchanged.
