Showstopping Villa Allegra offers breathtaking views across beautiful gardens to the surrounding rolling hills.
Just 9km from the town of Umbertide, Villa Allegra is a stunning property for ten with spacious homely interiors and magnificent gardens. The main building features a bright double living room with arched windows showcasing the surrounding views. A country style kitchen is fully equipped with a separate dining area should guests decide to dine indoors. A shaded terrace offers an inviting al fresco alternative for dinner with a view. Elsewhere within the grounds there is a fantastic pool, table tennis, a shared tennis court and a hammock swinging between the trees, providing the perfect spot for curling up with a good book or an afternoon snooze.
All of the bedrooms are spacious and elegantly decorated. There is one twin bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor of the main house with three doubles upstairs, all of which are en suite. The guest house has an additional kitchen and living area so it’s perfect for large groups to enjoy their own space; three further bedrooms complete the guest house.

A monastic calm hangs over the hills that straddle Tuscany and Umbria. But holidays along the Umbria–Tuscany border offer more than just quiet relaxation by the villa pool. Perugia is kept young by the city’s thousands of students, and houses one of central Italy’s great art collections. Lake Trasimeno has clear waters and scenery when you need a hit of azure or a day-long cycle ride. Gubbio and Città di Castello barely break their small-town rhythm to welcome visitors.
