About the villa

This is a beautiful traditional stone villa with unique features including an open fireplace in the sitting room and wooden beams and tiled floors throughout, yet it offers all the modern comfort you could want. The ground floor is comprised of a spacious kitchen with breakfast area, and this leads through to a comfortable sitting room with generously sized dining area which opens out on to the terrace. On the first floor there is a master bedroom with a shower room en suite, two double bedrooms sharing a shower room, a single room with use of a shower room, and a further double bedroom and single bedroom also sharing a shower room. Outside, there is a lovely covered dining terrace and a further dining area on the lawn. The property is set in extensive lawned gardens with the fenced private swimming pool the focal point, making this an ideal villa for families with young children. The property is also in the perfect location for sightseeing, with the delights of Pisa and Florence within easy reach for day trips, and the shops and restaurants of Lucca just 7km away.

Important Information

Arrival at this villa is between 4 and 8 pm.
After 8 pm a fee of Euro 50 is payable and after 10 pm the fee is Euro 100.
Any late arrival after 8pm is on request and needs to be agreed in advance.
Please kindly note that after midnight – if an arrival is possible - the extra cost is Euro 100 per hour.

The last few miles of the road leading to the property are quite curvy and pass through beautiful high antique stone walls. The road gets quite narrow at some points so we recommend not to hire large cars.

Average weather

Although they are only 17km apart, Pisa and Lucca instantly feel like different worlds. The former is a lively student city on the River Arno, and has one of the world’s most recognizable monuments: the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Understated Lucca is compact and genteel, ideal for a Tuscany villa nearby, with handsome piazzas that frame churches in the Luccan-Romanesque style. Those on a Lunigiana holiday occupy the Apennine foothills in far north-western Tuscany. It is rolling, blissfully empty terrain whose few inhabitants have cultural links with neighbouring Liguria.
