Original features combine with contemporary comforts at this 18th Century villa in Tuscany's rolling hills.
This typically Tuscan 18th Century villa is a luxurious addition to the rolling hills of Valdinevole. Located close to the historic old town of Monsummano Alto, this original farmhouse-complex has been cleverly restored into an elegant period retreat. While modern comforts complement the old-age country style, it's charm mainly lies in its classic features. Exterior walls are made of local stone and throughout, original artefacts and antique furnishings decorate every wall, floor and room. The large open kitchen is a traditional Tuscan gem with a working fireplace, old-style oven and even a sink that's more than 250 years old. Head through beautiful antique doors to find the spacious lounge and dining room - a set of 10 17th-Century Florentine chairs provide the perfect dinner setting. Upstairs, each of the bedrooms blend gorgeous views with an old interior character. The master bedroom has its own en suite bathroom with a Turkish bath, while next door, the smaller double and twin bedrooms share a bathroom that comes with its own Jacuzzi bathtub. Outside, a large open-plan terrace makes lazy sunbathing days easy - there's a barbecue that's great for al fresco dining, and an extremely spacious outdoor swimming pool and deck that adds a contemporary touch with its pool house and outdoor showers.
Angel Manor House is right next door to sister-villa Visi Manor House which also features in the CV Villas portfolio.

Although they are only 17km apart, Pisa and Lucca instantly feel like different worlds. The former is a lively student city on the River Arno, and has one of the world’s most recognizable monuments: the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Understated Lucca is compact and genteel, ideal for a Tuscany villa nearby, with handsome piazzas that frame churches in the Luccan-Romanesque style. Those on a Lunigiana holiday occupy the Apennine foothills in far north-western Tuscany. It is rolling, blissfully empty terrain whose few inhabitants have cultural links with neighbouring Liguria.
