About the villa

The large open-space living area is made up of a modern well-furnished kitchen separated from the extremely comfortable sofas in the seating area by a contemporary fireplace placed between the two rooms. Large picture windows replace the walls and draw ‘the outside’ in. Each of the three comfortable double bedrooms all have large picture windows connecting the interior to the outside terraces, two open out to the the spectacular sea views, the third onto the countryside. A large loggia gives shade through the day allowing al fresco dining at any time.

With good value restaurants offering delicious Sicilian specialities of sea food with excellent local wine within easy reach on the coast, in Portopalo di Menfi or atmospheric Menfi, long south facing sandy beaches and beach clubs to enjoy and plenty of picturesque towns within driving distance, this villa is a great choice to enjoy this unspoilt corner of southern Europe.

About the area

Selinunte and Western Sicily

Average weather

While still having a rich Italian heritage in food, history and culture, the west of Sicily has a noticeable African influence. Even with this, this area is still famous for an Italian tradition – winemaking – and is the home of the sweet desert wine, Marsala. The nightlife is something to experience, with family run restaurants popping up on the streets in the evening, showcasing a menu of freshly caught seafood, and other local dishes. But don’t forget about the days. Whatever interests you, there is something to see - from thermal baths and beaches to island trips and historical monuments.
