This charming stone villa and adjacent annexe are perfect for two groups holidaying together, but requiring some privacy. The villa opens into a double height entrance hall and dining area with fireplace, and stairs lead up to the mezzanine level where you’ll find a lounge area and two double bedrooms. Downstairs on the ground floor there is a sitting room and a pretty kitchenette. Outside, a shaded veranda with traditional, Sicilian-clay roofing tiles features a dining area and soft seating, the perfect place to relax with an evening drink.
The terrace leads to the splendid private pool and decking area with sun loungers. The attractive lawned garden dotted with shady palm trees leads to the annexe comprising of an open plan sitting room with kitchen, two bedrooms and a shower room. The annexe is wonderfully light and bright, with large picture windows and sliding doors looking out on to the gardens. Marinella di Selinute, with its shops and restaurants, is only a short 1km drive from the property, and the nearest sandy beach just a little further.

About the area

Selinunte and Western Sicily

Average weather

While still having a rich Italian heritage in food, history and culture, the west of Sicily has a noticeable African influence. Even with this, this area is still famous for an Italian tradition – winemaking – and is the home of the sweet desert wine, Marsala. The nightlife is something to experience, with family run restaurants popping up on the streets in the evening, showcasing a menu of freshly caught seafood, and other local dishes. But don’t forget about the days. Whatever interests you, there is something to see - from thermal baths and beaches to island trips and historical monuments.
