About the villa

With breathtaking panoramas from Mount Pimard and Rodney Bay to Pigeon Island and, sometimes, Martinique, this striking house stands in acres of grounds, catching balmy breezes above Cas en Bas Bay. Privately secluded but perfectly designed for entertaining, Atlantis has its own unique style, from its coral-stone entry stairway, to an Italianate interior courtyard complete with koi pond, a wrap-around covered terrace for al fresco living, immaculate gardens of tropical shrubs and tree-shaded lawns, and a 20m infinity pool overlooking the golf course below. Spaciousness comes as standard here, as do quality and attention to detail; so the villa’s interiors are cool, chic and well equipped. A very contemporary kitchen is replete with granite worktops and state-of-the-art appliances; the dining room features a solid wood refectory table large enough for twelve; and in the airy sitting room, stylish white sofas are framed by exposed stone walls, a handcrafted timber ceiling, and multiple arched doors out to the pool deck. There is cable TV and a billiard table in the ‘den’, air conditioning in each of the five bedrooms, and WiFi throughout the house.

About the area

St Lucia

Average weather

Part of the Windward Islands chain in the Eastern Caribbean, St. Lucia’s shores are met by both the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean. This little isle packs a lot into her forty three by twenty two kilometres. Rainforest hills lead down from the Pitons to the sea, where marine reserves protect the habitat of tropical fish and migrating whales. A lively party scene around Rodney Bay contrasts with unhurried beach life at Reduit Beach. Away from the coast the emphasis is on eco-tourism—activities including hiking and biking encourage visitors on a St. Lucia holiday to explore the interior.
