About the villa

Each with its own perspective on the bay, a dining area is set in a sunny terrace with flowering shrubs and colourful tubs, a covered veranda forms a comfortable al fresco sitting room, and a sun terrace is hemmed for privacy and shade by olive and fig trees. These pretty outdoor areas complement country-cottage interiors at the superbly sited Apraos House, where simple style is subtly blended with contemporary facilities, air conditioning, WiFi and satellite TV among them.
The single storey villa has a double and a twin bedroom, an additional bunk bedroom (available on request), and a sitting room which leads through an archway to the kitchen, and opens out through double doors to the lovely covered terrace. A pathway, with twenty five steps, leads down from the house to a sunbathing platform at the water’s edge, and the gently sloping sands of Kalamaki beach. Water sports and busier resorts are within easy reach by car.

"'Mama Mia' what a truly magical place! OMG I thought we were in heaven, beautiful, magical stay! We will be back."
"We've thoroughly enjoyed our week on Corfu. Sleeping to the sounds of the sea and watching the swifts sharpening their beaks on the rocks. A memorable walk to Old Perithia and refreshing swims with sparkling sea. Perfect villa."

"Excellent service & location. The CV staff was friendly, competent and always reachable when we needed assistance. The lady cleaning our apartment was so lovely and thorough and taught us some Greek, too (and her English was amazing, btw). And the location cannot be faulted - not too touristy, right by the sea and a great spot for swimming and snorkelling. There was a nice little taverna a short drive away, and the owner was so friendly (and the food delicious). And we were bowled over by the great views of mountainous Albania across the bay."

About the area

Kalamaki, Perithia & Agios Ioannis

Average weather

Corfu’s north coast, where the lower slopes of its highest mountain Pantokrator sink below the waves, is gentler than the north-east, and provides excellent bathing too. The stretch between Kalamaki and St. Spiridion faces the mountains of Albania stacked up across the straits; it is quiet and user-friendly, yet close enough to buzzing towns like Kassiopi and Roda for tastes of a party atmosphere. A holiday in Perithia, puts you in the island’s oldest village, sitting three kilometres behind and well above the coast, about half-way to Pantokator’s summit.
