About the villa
A traditional Corfiot country house, delightfully close to the sea, this relaxing villa is enveloped in an unhurried island tempo. Within the house, accommodation is generously sized and simply furnished for comfort. On the ground floor, the spacious sitting/dining room is cool and light, with crisp white décor and doors to an al fresco terrace. The floor above is a private haven for the double bedroom, which opens out to a big balcony with cushioned cane seating and glorious views; while three twin bedrooms occupy the lower ground floor. Outside, various terraces catch the sun almost from dawn to dusk, a lovely veranda is naturally screened in lush greenery and furnished for lounging and dining, a walled and sun-soaked terrace encircles the eight metre swimming pool, and a barbecue area is easily accessed from the house. A path from the garden leads down to a bathing platform on the right hand side by the sea, where Olympia shares the water’s edge with sister-villa Gallini and Kerasia beach and St Stephano’s harbour are both within easy strolling distance.

Average weather
As you navigate the winding hill dotted with olive trees and beehives, St Stephano glimpsed far below looks every bit the archetypal Greek fishing village. Lining a horseshoe-shaped bay facing the Albanian mountains, it is a scattering of houses, a succession of tavernas, and a series of jetties, all set in a wooded amphitheatre dotted with elegant villas and cypress trees. It is striking, yet still has working fishing boats; a St Stephano holiday is a retreat of simple pleasures.

There is no better way to explore the coastline and discover deserted bays and coves with their translucent water to add to the overall enjoyment of your holiday. Small boats and speedboats can be pre-booked with our UK office prior to departure and we recommend early reservations, especially in July and August, as availability is limited. Smaller size boats can still be hired without a licence which remains unchanged.
