There are plenty of family-friendly resorts around the country, such as the mainland areas of Costa Brava and the island of Tenerife, while the Costa del Sol offers a huge range of individual properties perfect for holidays with kids.
Mallorca is home to Palma Aquarium and Hidropark, a waterpark in Alcudia, which is great fun for kids, while Puerto Pollensa beach has lovely shallow waters and a play park.
The island of Menorca has Aquarock Waterpark and Punta Prima beach where there are rarely any waves, plus the water is nice and shallow; you can park for free next to the beach and there are plenty of bars and restaurants, as well as kayak and pedalo rentals. For indoor fun, Castillo is an outlet shopping centre that has an adventure playground with zip wires, sand pits and trampolines, not forgetting the large pool with slides and there's even a separate pool for toddlers.
Ibiza offers family fun an Aguamar water park and Cap Blanc aquarium, while Cala Llonga beach is a huge stretch of sand with shallow waters, water sports, restaurants and a great kids' play area.
