Dar Giardino, Morocco
The wonderful gardens at Dar Giardino comprise of three acres beautifully designed by Luciano Giubbilei, a noted Italian garden designer who has thoughtfully mixed his own unique style with that of the distinct Moroccan landscape. Ancient olive groves blend with plumbago hedging and warmly-coloured Moroccan roses that perfume the evening breeze; a magical setting in which to enjoy the setting sun over the Atlas Mountains.
Villa dell'Aquila, Sicily
The outdoor space at Villa dell'Aquila is truly special, with a number of beautiful terraces to relax upon and enjoy the surrounding views. Due to the unique location of the property, guests are likely to see a variety of birds including storks and flamingoes across the salt marshes. The gardens themselves have been cleverly created by landscape architect Ivan Gallo, who with attention to detail has carefully selected all plants particularly suited to a Mediterranean climate.
Villa dell’Oca, Sicily
Another horticultural masterpiece from Ivan Gallo is the garden at Villa dell'Oca. As a neighbouring villa of Villa dell'Aquila, this property also enjoys the unique and impressive views of the Vendicari nature reserve. Evidently, the garden has been designed to compliment and accentuate these views and has been finished to a very high standard featuring a lily pond, a cactus garden and beautiful meadows stretching from the edge of the terrace into the distance.
