About the villa
Uvetta is a small and comfortable villa with private pool sleeping up to 6 people which has been renovated in 2018. This villa is ideal for a family with young children or for friends travelling together. Its position is perfect for those looking to spend time in the countryside while being very close to a city – the stunning city of Lucca is just 15km away. Conveniently located in Colle di Compito, it is also very close by the coast of Versilia and guests have easy access to the main Tuscany sightseeing such as Florence, Pisa, San Gemignano etc.
The owners manage other properties in the area and have furnished this property with many comforts such as air-conditioning , smart TV, Bluetooth music system, WI-fi, etc. On the ground floor of the villa there is a large open space with the living room and a well-equipped kitchen (microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, etc.) while on the first floor there are 2 double bedrooms both with their en-suite bathroom (shower) and a twin bedroom with private bathroom (shower). At a short walking distance there is a small sport centre where is possible to play tennis.

Important Information
Please note that there is a European tourist tax payable on arrival to the House Manager. This only applies to guests over 12 years and the amount varies from €1 .5 to €6 per person and is set by the local council. Further details will be advised prior to arrival.
Having a barbecue in Italy is one of the best ways to cook your food but you may find that due to long drought periods in high season barbecuing may be restricted in some areas. You will be informed if this happens by your house staff or local representative.
Arrival at this villa is between 4 and 8 pm.
After 8 pm a fee of Euro 50 is payable and after 10 pm the fee is Euro 100.
Any late arrival after 8pm is on request and needs to be agreed in advance.

Average weather
Although they are only 17km apart, Pisa and Lucca instantly feel like different worlds. The former is a lively student city on the River Arno, and has one of the world’s most recognizable monuments: the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Understated Lucca is compact and genteel, ideal for a Tuscany villa nearby, with handsome piazzas that frame churches in the Luccan-Romanesque style. Those on a Lunigiana holiday occupy the Apennine foothills in far north-western Tuscany. It is rolling, blissfully empty terrain whose few inhabitants have cultural links with neighbouring Liguria.
