With far-reaching views across the surrounding countryside, Il Bel Mulino is a charming property in the heart of Tuscany.
What was once an olive mill has been carefully restored to create this beautiful Tuscan property. Retaining some of its original features, the interiors have been thoughtfully decorated to give a farmhouse feel, creating the perfect home away from home for friends and families alike. Large living areas have plenty of space for indoor relaxation alongside various options for indoor dining. One of our favourite features about this unique property is the wine cellar with its own dedicated tasting room - where better to sample the region's finest!
Sleeping up to 12 guests, there are six charming bedrooms across three floors, all of which are en suite and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside to wake up to. Outside, guests can enjoy al fresco dining beneath a shaded gazebo, which is served by a summer kitchen. Within the lush lawned gardens a small staircase leads to an amazing pool, with a dedicated children’s section cleverly running around the outside. A nearby cafe, bakery and restaurants are within just 1.5km, while Pisa is 30km away.

Although they are only 17km apart, Pisa and Lucca instantly feel like different worlds. The former is a lively student city on the River Arno, and has one of the world’s most recognizable monuments: the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Understated Lucca is compact and genteel, ideal for a Tuscany villa nearby, with handsome piazzas that frame churches in the Luccan-Romanesque style. Those on a Lunigiana holiday occupy the Apennine foothills in far north-western Tuscany. It is rolling, blissfully empty terrain whose few inhabitants have cultural links with neighbouring Liguria.
