About the villa

Ideally located just 2km from the coast and with incredible sea views, Bellamare is a stunning modern house in Eastern Sicily. Sleeping up to 14 guests the villa itself is vast and contemporary with bright white walls and cool tiled flooring throughout. The living area is remarkable and entirely open-plan, which lends itself to large groups socialising on holiday. There’s a white marble kitchen with a huge island that doubles up as a breakfast bar and separate dining area with a large square table and space for all guests to dine together; the opposite end of this area is furnished with comfortable seating for relaxing indoors. Floor to ceiling glass doors lead out to the terrace which spans the length of the house. There’s a large al fresco dining table that’s perfectly positioned to enjoy the sea view, beside an impressive 18m long private pool with comfortable loungers and parasols. 

There are seven double bedrooms in total, which are all en suite so this is an ideal house for groups of friends holidaying together. Three bedrooms are on the ground floor, two on the first floor and two on the second floor. 

Not only is Bellamare within easy reach of nearby beaches, lively Taormina is also just a short drive away.

Please note that the property has a steep access road with several bends. Smaller cars are recommended.

Please note that the preferred suppliers for the villa must be used for any additional services. Unknown extra staff are not permitted at the villa.

Please note that there is a Euro 2000 float/breakage deposit payable in cash on arrival. Any additional services will be offset against this float.

Average weather

Perhaps Sicily’s main tourist destination, Taormina has something for everyone. A fabulous coastline, a land and history shaped by an active volcano and a choice of a low key evening or a livelier night a little further down the coast. The east coast’s history of being conquered has led to a rich cultural heritage with so many sites to see – most famously being the ancient theatres. With this in mind, it could be easy to miss out on a shopping experience – choose from the independent gift shops or the more well-known stores found in Catania. And of course, you can’t avoid the magnificent and varied Italian cuisine.
