About the villa

Behind a manicured garden of lush lawns, tall palms and olive trees, Palazzina del Mare stands tall. Split across three floors, this villa oozes style and sophistication. On the ground floor, the living area is chic and comfortable, with matte pewter walls, cool tiled floors and leafy plants bringing the space to life. There’s a bright and contemporary kitchen with parquet style worktops and a matching island, plus a large glass table offering guests the option to dine indoors. Double doors lead out to the terrace where an al fresco dining table sits beneath a cool canopy pergola with curtains for total privacy. A few steps down lead to the private pool paired with comfortable cushioned sun loungers and parasols. Back inside, two of the bedrooms are also on the ground floor - one double and one twin, which share a shower room.

The first floor has another open plan living area with comfortable sofas, a large screen TV and a further indoor dining area. There’s a round table with seating for up to four guests and a kitchenette area with slate worktops and copper pans. Two further bedrooms are on this floor, which both have a Juliet balcony, and share a shower room. On the top floor there is a bright open living are, further shower room and a sunny terrace. About the area

Siracusa and Southern Sicily

Average weather

As one of the quieter destinations on the diverse island of Sicily, the south is home to some of the top, one and two Michellin star restaurants in the country. And it’s no wonder, with the abundance beautiful local produce available. As in all parts of Sicily, there is a contrast in landscape from the marshland of Vendicari to the rebuilt towns of Noto and Ragusa. Siracusa has a tradition in making puppets - buy one as a souvenir or visit the puppet theatre for some light entertainment. Or try out the range of restaurants, bars and tours for a relaxing evening with friends.
