A very attractive house in a supremely restful setting, Yialiskari Bay is quietly positioned on olive grove slopes, above the sleepy cove from which it takes its name. Wrap-around terraces provide a variety of perspectives, to the sheltered anchorage and small beach below, south along the sculpted coast of Corfu and east across the water to Albania. And the house is within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants in Agni, and water sports from the Blue Flag beach of Kalami, so a change of tempo is just a few minutes away.

With a large heated infinity pool and al fresco breakfast, dining and barbecue areas, this welcoming and well equipped villa is comfortably furnished in soft muted tones, and air-conditioned throughout. In an excellent layout for families or groups of friends, the villa’s lower ground floor offers privacy for four guests with its own kitchen, spacious sitting and separate games room; while the lovely master suite enjoys sole occupancy of the top floor. Cook service, payable locally, could add an extra level of leisurely comfort.

Rentals for 9 -12 guests will include the Lower Ground Floor bedrooms, otherwise these will be closed except from peak and high seasons (7th July - 31st August 2025) when all bedrooms will be available. The Lower Ground Floor games room / sitting room will remain open regardless of occupancy.

Yialiskari, Kalami & Kouloura

Average weather

Kalami, Kouloura, and Yialiskari are among the prettiest villages on Corfu’s north-east coast. Their collective character attracted writer Lawrence Durrell to the area before World War II. In Kalami you can eat and sleep in the White House, where Durrell and his wife settled, and view memorabilia and cuttings about the man. Kouloura, in the next bay, has a nautical feel, the oldest harbour on that coast, dating from Byzantine times, and is protected by a stone wall. Yialiskari holidays are usually spent on the village’s sandy beach; it is sheltered by impressive rocks that plunge straight into the sea.

BOAT HIRE

There is no better way to explore the coastline and discover deserted bays and coves with their translucent water to add to the overall enjoyment of your holiday. Small boats and speedboats can be pre-booked with our UK office prior to departure and we recommend early reservations, especially in July and August, as availability is limited. Smaller size boats can still be hired without a licence which remains unchanged.
