About the villa
In a timeless landscape of tall cypress, twisted olive and graceful eucalyptus trees, this striking villa oozes style and quality and makes a very contemporary mark on its classic Corfiot setting. Outside, the stone-walled structure frames huge expanses of sliding glass doors, overlooking an impressive free-form infinity pool with wonderful views down to the bay of St Stephano. With its gently shelving wade-in shallows, the pool is encircled by a mellowed timber sun deck, complemented by a shaded stylish al fresco ‘sitting room’.
The contemporary theme is echoed in the stylish interior, which is cool and filled with light. The high-spec kitchen (new for the 2020 season) flows into the spacious sitting room which opens onto the terrace. Blurring the edges of indoor and outdoor living, the villa's dining room has a whole wall of sliding doors, transforming it into a covered dining space complete with built-in barbecue. The villa has three spacious bedrooms; upstairs the master suite opens out to a lovely balcony with comfortable seating and far-reaching views to the sea and St Stephano.
In a private and peaceful position, Villa Selena is just 1.7km from St Stephano’s shops, beach and harbour-front tavernas. It is also possible to walk to the village, via a path which winds down the hillside from the property, in less than 10 minutes.

As you navigate the winding hill dotted with olive trees and beehives, St Stephano glimpsed far below looks every bit the archetypal Greek fishing village. Lining a horseshoe-shaped bay facing the Albanian mountains, it is a scattering of houses, a succession of tavernas, and a series of jetties, all set in a wooded amphitheatre dotted with elegant villas and cypress trees. It is striking, yet still has working fishing boats; a St Stephano holiday is a retreat of simple pleasures.

There is no better way to explore the coastline and discover deserted bays and coves with their translucent water to add to the overall enjoyment of your holiday. Small boats and speedboats can be pre-booked with our UK office prior to departure and we recommend early reservations, especially in July and August, as availability is limited. UK boat licences will no longer be valid in Europe from January 2021 due to Brexit. Smaller size boats can still be hired without a licence which remains unchanged.
