Kalamaki, Perithia & Agios Ioannis, Corfu, Greece
Perfectly poised to admire endless sea vistas, Olive Tree House is an exquisite addition to our ABOVE portfolio on Corfu’s charming north east coast.
Olive Tree House offers the best of both worlds for guests looking to enjoy a wonderfully secluded and luxurious retreat while still being close to the action. From its hillside position, the sea views are magnificent and far-reaching to the mountains of Albania. An irresistible kidney shaped pool features a long infinity edge where it seamlessly merges with the sea beyond; rattan loungers and parasols line the opposite edge for poolside sunning and snoozing. On the upper terrace there are two shady spots furnished with comfortable seating on one side and a long dining table and chairs on the other, perfect for al fresco entertaining.
Inside the villa is beautifully decorated, with attention to detail providing style and comfort in equal measure. The open plan living space is bright and airy; there’s a long dining table with candelabra and contemporary hanging lights, a fully-equipped kitchen area with a breakfast bar and stools, and a comfortable seating area for indoor relaxation. There are four double bedrooms on the ground floor, each with its own unique subtle but stylish décor. All four open to the terrace and each has a shower room en suite. The lower ground floor is home to a further two en suite double bedrooms, which are accessed externally.
During peak season guests will enjoy the added indulgence of cook service six days a week and if there is ever the desire to leave the villa, Kalamaki is within easy reach for shops, tavernas and a golden sandy beach, while Kassiopi is just a short drive away.

Corfu’s north coast, where the lower slopes of its highest mountain Pantokrator sink below the waves, is gentler than the north-east, and provides excellent bathing too. The stretch between Kalamaki and St. Spiridion faces the mountains of Albania stacked up across the straits; it is quiet and user-friendly, yet close enough to buzzing towns like Kassiopi and Roda for tastes of a party atmosphere. A holiday in Perithia, puts you in the island’s oldest village, sitting three kilometres behind and well above the coast, about half-way to Pantokator’s summit.

There is no better way to explore the coastline and discover deserted bays and coves with their translucent water to add to the overall enjoyment of your holiday. Small boats and speedboats can be pre-booked with our UK office prior to departure and we recommend early reservations, especially in July and August, as availability is limited. UK boat licences will no longer be valid in Europe from January 2021 due to Brexit. Smaller size boats can still be hired without a licence which remains unchanged.
