Cora Cobain

Born and bred in Hertfordshire to an English mum and Scottish dad, my most frequent travel destination throughout my life has been the beautiful Isle of Bute where my father was born and grew up. (Lying off the West Coast of Scotland, Bute takes in the highland/lowland border and is famous for the glorious Mount Stuart Castle.) My father grew up on this Scottish Isle before moving to Hertfordshire and meeting my mother, and the Cobain clan grew further thereafter. Apart from living in the convenient home County of Hertfordshire, I have lived all over London and also in Spain for 6 years. I call the Balearic Island of Ibiza my second home as it was here that I started my career at CV Villas as a Destination Expert, before taking a break to have my second son. The Balearics are a bit of an obsession for me, with both my sons being named after villages on the Islands of Formentera and Ibiza. Islands are definitely a ongoing theme in my life it seems! Recently I visited Corfu for the first time thanks to my new role at CV, and as this was the destination for my parents honeymoon when they married back in the 70s, it was particularly meaningful for me. I am looking forward to returning to Corfu again to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of CV Villas and look forward to meeting more of my colleagues from overseas.
