Very individual, pretty and set in gardens with views to the bay, this little gem is equally inviting as a comfortable family villa or a rather romantic retreat for two.
Very individual, pretty and set in gardens with views to the bay, this little gem is equally inviting as a comfortable family villa or a rather romantic retreat for two. The gardens are simply gorgeous at Casa dos Gemeos, carefully curved flower beds and borders echoing the soft lines of the house itself, and bursting with bright blossoming shrubs that scent the air and screen the space with privacy. At the heart of this little haven is a lovely swimming pool, which can be heated on request, overlooked by a gently sloping lawn and sheltered by tall trees. Surrounding greenery meets the blue of the bay in distant sea views, and sweeping staircases lead up to the roof terrace and into the house.
Simply styled in cool colours, an airy living room is open-plan to the kitchen with its curved breakfast bar, and opens on to a furnished dining terrace. Each of the three bedrooms has an en suite bathroom. The largest, with a rounded wall of windows, is romantically furnished in fresh blue and white. There are shops, restaurants and low key nightlife about 1.5km away in Praia da Luz, and the sandy beach is 2km from the villa. Just next door is Casa Algodao, and these villas can easily be rented together for two families or a large group of friends.
Please note that smoking is not permitted inside the property.

A pretty, historic town in the western Algarve, there is much to discover both in Lagos and the surrounding area. Marvel at the stunning coastal scenery and laze on the golden sands of Blue Flag beaches, then stop for lunch in one of the many waterfront restaurants serving up fresh fish. Explore the cobbled streets of Lagos’ Old Town, and then venture out to the fishing villages nearby, and experience the traditional Portuguese way of life.
