About the villa

Set in very private surroundings in beautifully landscaped gardens, Trulli Orchidea is a beautifully refurbished trullo property, and is incredibly spacious. Central to the villa is a large majestic trullo, surrounded by smaller trulli cones to create a beautiful property. Guests will enjoy bright and airy rooms with classic whitewashed walls and countryside furnishings, including a large well equipped kitchen, open-plan sitting room with further breakfast kitchenette, and three lovely bedrooms.  Each bedroom is named after the solar system: 'Sole, Giove and Luna'. Sole and Giove are accessed from the main sitting room.  The master bedroom, Sole boasts the original 'cementine' flooring, with furnishings of soft blues and beiges. Giove looks out over the gardens and takes inspiration from colours of the local cactus.  Luna, the  third bedroom, is externally accessed via a paved walkway, and furnished in sunset colours of ochre and beige. Patio furniture has been placed outside Luna for morning coffee.

The villa features excellent space for outdoor dining, including a large bamboo-shaded veranda, as well as a large private pool with shaded area with built in seating for soaking up the sun. The swimming pool is tucked away to the far side of the property with a backdrop of the distant and historic town of Cisternino, olive trees, fruit trees, tall trees and shrubs. From the patio, a stoned paved walkway encircles the property, giving access to the different parts of the property.  Both Cisternino and Locorotondo are within a short drive of the property, whilst Martina Franca, Alberobello and Ostuni and the sandy beaches with beach clubs are also well-worth a visit. With spacious, attractive accommodation and well-equipped outside areas, this is a great property for couples or families alike.
