With décor and furnishings mainly in white, limed wood and soft neutrals, there’s a sea-salt feel to this comfortably casual villa, enhanced by the fact that every room and terrace looks out to sublime seascapes. A path leads down from Triton directly to a small pebble cove, hemmed with flat rocks and washed by crystal clear waters. The beach, shops and eateries in St. Stephano are an easily walkable 250 metres away. And the villa has its own heatable swimming pool, with a big poolside gazebo attractively furnished in cushioned rattan to form an al fresco sitting room.A covered dining terrace adjoins the house, overlooking the pool and views, and a built-in barbecue is further encouragement for the outdoor lifestyle, while, within the villa, an open-plan living room makes a convivial social space. There are two twin and two double bedrooms; a fifth room in the Guest House offers extra privacy, with its own living area and kitchenette; and each of the bedrooms has its own bath or shower room, air conditioning and a private balcony or terrace. A lovely spot for a lazy stay, Triton is just 6km from a change of tempo in lively Kassiopi.

Average weather

As you navigate the winding hill dotted with olive trees and beehives, St Stephano glimpsed far below looks every bit the archetypal Greek fishing village. Lining a horseshoe-shaped bay facing the Albanian mountains, it is a scattering of houses, a succession of tavernas, and a series of jetties, all set in a wooded amphitheatre dotted with elegant villas and cypress trees. It is striking, yet still has working fishing boats; a St Stephano holiday is a retreat of simple pleasures.

There is no better way to explore the coastline and discover deserted bays and coves with their translucent water to add to the overall enjoyment of your holiday. Small boats and speedboats can be pre-booked with our UK office prior to departure and we recommend early reservations, especially in July and August, as availability is limited. Smaller size boats can still be hired without a licence which remains unchanged.
