About the villa
Surrounded by delightful gardens which cushion the cottage, Margarita has always been a popular choice for couples who love the Corfiot lifestyle. The little villa has a simply furnished kitchen/dining room, a a shower room, and a double bedroom which opens on to a shaded veranda. Comfortable cane chairs make this a lovely al fresco ‘sitting room’, overlooking the garden’s shrubs, tubs and mature trees, along with its recent addition, an inviting swimming pool. While retaining its charming traditional character, Margarita’s upgrade also includes less obvious contemporary comforts, from WiFi to air conditioning in the bedroom, ensuring that the villa remains very much in demand.One thing that no-one would want to change is the excellent location, just a five minute walk from St. Stephano’s beach and even closer to shops, tavernas and the harbour. One of a two neighbouring sister-villas, it could be booked together with Eleni to form a comfortable cluster for family or friends.

Average weather
As you navigate the winding hill dotted with olive trees and beehives, St Stephano glimpsed far below looks every bit the archetypal Greek fishing village. Lining a horseshoe-shaped bay facing the Albanian mountains, it is a scattering of houses, a succession of tavernas, and a series of jetties, all set in a wooded amphitheatre dotted with elegant villas and cypress trees. It is striking, yet still has working fishing boats; a St Stephano holiday is a retreat of simple pleasures.

There is no better way to explore the coastline and discover deserted bays and coves with their translucent water to add to the overall enjoyment of your holiday. Small boats and speedboats can be pre-booked with our UK office prior to departure and we recommend early reservations, especially in July and August, as availability is limited. Smaller size boats can still be hired without a licence which remains unchanged.
