Mas des Amandes combines the cozy feeling of a French cottage with the modern comfort and luxury offered by its contemporary styling and design. The building itself feels both rustic and elegant: a wicker veranda with crawling vines, terracotta rooftops, stored firewood and a bountiful garden with cypress and wisteria trees. Find your joie de vivre in the villa's easygoing homeliness, sitting outside on the cushioned wooden seats, enjoying an aperitif while soaking in that southern French sun, going for a dip in your private pool as needed. Mas des Amandes doesn't skimp on quality comfort, with king sized beds and modern bathrooms. A well-equipped open plan kitchen boasts modern units, situated adjacent to the veranda through room-high French doors. The interior styling compliments the country-feel of the villa beautifully: contemporary and fresh, but still bucolic and warm, with plenty of artwork, books and ornaments tastefully painting a welcoming picture of the villa's interior spaces.
Under half a kilometre away is the quiet village of Eygalières, a charming locale with the old stone buildings typical of a French country village. Enjoy the dainty pleasantries of French rural life, with a local butcher, patisserie, restaurants, and of course the unbeatable country markets offering fresh local produce (market day is on Friday). Mas des Amandes is also located in the middle of Alpilles regional park, where scenic walks are abundant: wander through glorious mountain ranges, ancient Roman ruins, olive groves and country orchards, taking in the natural opulence of the south of France. The coast is not far either, with the sandy beach of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer only 85km away.
