About the villa

The perfect spot for a group getaway, Maison Jolie is a grand country house designed to sleep up to twelve guests. The property is baby and toddler-friendly too, ideal for holidays to the Bordeaux region with the whole family. The villa is well equipped and has plenty of space both inside and out. Inside, enjoy a spacious kitchen and dining room, which opens out onto the pool terrace. The ground floor also features an elegant and welcoming living space for cosy evenings in. Head upstairs to discover six large bedrooms, spread across the first and second floors, each equipped with an en suite, towels and hairdryers. Outside, a 12-metre, heated saltwater pool is nestled among the lush lawns, alongside a wisteria-draped, shaded dining terrace. There are also sunbeds to lounge on.

The spacious grounds include table tennis, badminton and space for croquet. The long lawns are ideal for frisbee, hide and seek, or for a snooze in the shade of the trees. While there is plenty to do around the house, merely a 20-minute drive away guests will adore the beautiful Vigiers golf course, with its award-winning spa and Michelin restaurant. For a full day out, make sure to visit Arcachon and the Dune de Pyla, the highest sand dune in Europe.

France’s sixth largest city, and the world’s largest urban World Heritage Site, Bordeaux is a perfect cocktail of rural charm and city suave. This UNESCO-proclaimed region is rich in art museums, magnificent gothic architecture and world-renowned wines, matched beautifully with authentic riverside villages and grand, elegant chateaux. The River Garonne and its bankside guinguettes are never too far away from your villa, offering the perfect opportunity for an afternoon stroll, jog or cycle along the water’s edge. Scattered with sun-soaked vineyards, this fine-wine capital prides itself on its centuries-perfected viticulture, and also boasts an exceptional dining scene.
