This week, the World Travel Awards announced the Caribbean winners of the 25th World Travel Awards, and St Lucia took home the prize for the Caribbean’s Leading Honeymoon Destination 2018, the fifth year in a row it’s taken home the award. And with stunning sandy beaches backed by mountains, turquoise waters teeming with tropical fish, colonial towns and lush rainforest we’d have to agree.

A villa holiday is the perfect choice for a honeymoon, providing all the privacy and seclusion you could want. And many of our villas in St Lucia come with private pools and cook service included, for that extra touch of luxury. Here is a selection of our smaller villas in St Lucia, just perfect for a special honeymoon.

This small villa, beautifully designed, has the feel of an incredibly luxurious beach shack. The perfect romantic retreat for two, there is a large lagoon style pool surrounded by palm trees, while stylishly furnished terraces look out to sea and the master bedroom boasts a four poster bed. Cook service is included, leaving you free to spend the evening enjoying cocktails in the gazebo overlooking the sea.

Sea Pearl

If close proximity to the beach is a must for your honeymoon, then Sea Pearl could be the villa for you. With a sandy beach just a few minutes’ walk away and uninterrupted sea views from the gardens, living area and double bedroom, it’s a perfect seaside retreat.

The gorgeous 7m swimming pool is generously sized for two, while the terrace is made for relaxing with a drink in hand while you watch the sun set over the ocean. Cook service is also included here, but if you’d rather dine out then Castries is an easy drive.

You can't get much closer to the beach than Sea Pearl

La Bagatelle

With incredible views of the Pitons, and a beautiful sandy beach just a short walk away, La Bagatelle is hard to beat for honeymooners. Both bedrooms have four poster beds and en suite shower rooms, and with its own pool, and an open air living area furnished with a hammock and day bed, there are plenty of private spots to relax.

Soufriere is just a 10 minute drive away, or if you’d prefer to dine in cook service is also included.
