My passion for travel started from a 2-year work experience placement in the USA. I combined working in the summer months and travelling throughout the USA & Canada for the rest of the year, I was hooked. On my return back to the UK, I got my first travel job with Kuoni, where I was fortunate enough to travel the world, visiting some of the most incredible destinations including the Indian Ocean, the Far East, India, the Caribbean, Africa, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas. After 20 years with the company, I moved to an independent luxury travel agency and more recently joining the CV Villas team in 2025.

What is your favourite destination? 

It is difficult to pick one favourite as every destination has something exciting and unique to offer. Sri Lanka will always be in my top 5 travel spots. There is nowhere quite like it. From the moment you land, you are welcomed by warm smiles and true Sri Lankan hospitality. You can immerse yourself into diverse landscapes and stunning scenery. The personal experiences you can enjoy are endless, from discovering ancient cities & landmarks, scenic train rides, tea picking on a tea plantation, relax on the beautiful beaches, try your hand at the unique fishing methods, visit ancient temples & ruins or enjoy the abundance of wildlife on a safari trip in one of the national parks. 

Which destination is top of your bucket list and why?

After a recent trip to Peru, I would love to discover more of South America.

How do you spend your time whilst on holiday?

It all depends on the destination. I love exploring and discovering, but equally I do love to sit back and relax, enjoy a good book and a few cheeky cocktails.
