Villa Specialist

Working in the travel industry is a very special place to work. And now with over 20 years’ experience in the industry, I get to fuel my passion every day by learning about new destinations or cultures. And it means I get to talk about the thing I love to do the most Holidays! After studying Leisure & tourism at college, my first job in travel was selling Ski & Lakes and mountains holidays for a well know package tour operator. Which was perfect because I loved Skiing & Snowboarding holiday’s, it gave me the bug to travel even more, and my first experience of a Fam trip! Fast forward a few years that company became an even bigger company and we started arranging holidays to the Med selling Sunny Villa holidays. I also managed to wangle three glorious winter Ski season working aboard in the French Alpes in Meribel, until It was time to come home back to the real world! Via the Caribbean. Lately I have been working for a luxury retail holiday company creating amazing tailormade Honeymoons and once in a lifetime trips. From dreamy, boutique Islands in the Maldives to cultural tours of Sri Lanka and Safaris in Africa. I really do love helping people to find the perfect holiday, and I know what it takes to make it go well.
What is your favourite destination?
It is so hard to pick, but the place I’ve visited time and time again is Barbados. I absolutely love this sunning Caribbean Island for so many reasons. The culture the beautiful beaches, the purple & pink sunsets, the people are so friendly the food is delicious. There is so much to see and do in one tiny tropical Island, and it is so much fun!
Which destination is top of your bucket list and why?
Bora Bora, because It’s so picturesque and so far away. If I won the lottery that would be the place I would love to visit and go diving. Also Japan to go snowboarding there, for the world-famous Powder!
How do you spend your time whilst on holiday?
I would honestly say relaxing horizontally by the sea with a cocktail and a book in my hand. Nowadays its spent applying sun cream, finding shade, and being splashed in the pool by my two wonderful children! Holidays look very different these days, but the thought of a Villa holiday where you can have a little home away from home. With a private pool, a fully stocked fridge, and a Cook, sounds perfect to me.
