After my own adventures studying in Italy and exploring South America, I’ve been fortunate to build a career across a wide range of travel companies, from organising immersive English courses for Italian groups, to handling reservations for holiday apartments in the Canary Islands. What is your favourite destination? 

Italy will always be my favourite destination. Its incredible cultural richness and regional diversity mean you can experience breathtaking landscapes, distinct culinary traditions, and vibrant dialects all within a single country. While I’ve loved every region I’ve visited, Puglia holds a special place in my heart - it’s my partner’s home, and his big, welcoming Puglian family has made me feel like one of their own. 

Which destination is top of your bucket list and why?

Tanzania - its sweeping national parks around Arusha and the paradise island of Zanzibar have been calling to me for years. With a friend now living there, I’m hopeful that dream trip isn’t far off.  

How do you spend your time whilst on holiday?

When I’m away, you’ll usually find me walking – I love hitting the streets as soon as I’ve unpacked. There’s nothing like a leisurely wander through a new town or city to slip into the holiday spirit, and it’s the best way to stumble across hidden gems.

What's your top travel tip?

Create a “holiday map” on Google. Pin places you want to visit in advance to help plan your itinerary, or add new finds on the go. It’s also perfect for sharing recommendations with friends and family planning their own adventures.
