Describe the perfect day in your destination?

My perfect day in Corfu would begin by taking a stroll and having some breakfast in beautiful Corfu Town before heading to one of the island’s breath-taking beaches with a freddo espresso in hand, to soak up the sun and have a relaxing swim in the ocean. I would then head for a delicious lunch at one of the many wonderful tavernas on the island, followed by a well-deserved rest before going to enjoy a cocktail and watch the sunset.

What are your top travel tips for your destination?

I would highly recommend renting a car for your stay as it is the easiest way to explore the island at your own pace and gives you the freedom to explore as much of it as possible. Corfu has many different must-see spots, so it’s worth it to see as much of it as possible during your stay!

What local cuisine would you recommend to people staying in your destination?

You can’t visit Greece without eating the infamous pita gyro, a hearty Greek salad and some delicious kolokithokeftedes (courgette balls)! It is also worth having a fresh baked cheese or spinach pie for breakfast from one of the traditional local bakeries.

What experiences would you recommend to our customers in your destination?

Taking a boat trip is highly recommended during your stay, it is a great day out that gives you the opportunity to swim in crystal clear waters and visit other little islands close to Corfu. A day trip to Corfu Town is also a must to enjoy a coffee, some lunch and some shopping while taking in the rich history and architecture.
