This culinary walking tour of Palma de Majorca is unlike any other. Self-guided, so you can go at your own pace, a web app will provide you with a personalised route, passing the city’s must-see sights with four extra special stops. No wine tasting is complete without food and vice versa, so at each tasting you’ll be able to savour local wines (or beer) that have been paired with delicious dishes sourced from interesting local restaurants.

In a culinary studio in the heart of Palma, take part in a traditional Majorca cooking workshop. Choose a morning session, with a visit to the famous Mercat de l’Olivar, or an afternoon one that includes an authentic local aperitif, before getting down to business in the kitchen. Palma Food Tour

Local Foods Discovery

Taller de Arroces

In this hands-on workshop prepare some traditional and seriously tasty Majorca rice dishes. In the winter months, you’ll make Arroz Brut, a homely and flavourful local soup, while in the summer it will be a fresh and tasty paella, both recipes making use of local produce and iconic ingredients like olives and sobrassada. Served with an aperitif and two glasses of wine, you’ll leave the lesson pleasantly full and with a better understanding of Mallorca’s culinary culture.

Show Cooking & Wine Tasting

One of the oldest estates on the island, Binicomprat is set in hundreds of acres of exquisite countryside. Your experience begins with a guided visit of the house, vineyards and winery, where native grapes are grown and meticulously turned into delicious wines. You’ll then watch a cooking demonstration of a seasonal rice dish, before sitting down in the winery gardens (weather permitting) to enjoy a tasting of four wines and a three course lunch featuring the dish prepared in the demonstration.

Taste the Majorca Terroir

Featuring gin and a tasting of local foods, this experience is a delicious introduction to not only Majorca's food culture but some of its finest artisanal products. It begins with a tasting of six Majorcan gins, followed by a tasting of well-known local products like cheeses, meats and gildas served with a gin cocktail.
