About the villa

Orrizonte Mare is a modern and minimalist property designed with style and attention to detail. Clever use of coloured lights and contemporary works of art give this property a very unique and creative feel throughout. The ground floor encompasses a spacious living room with soft leather seating, a bright open dining area, which opens to the garden and stylish well-equipped kitchen; an additional room off the living room has a grand piano for music lovers. Three of four bedrooms are also downstairs, each with a king size bed and a spacious en suite. The first floor is dedicated to the master suite with a freestanding bath tub.

The outside space at this villa is spectacular. A shaded terrace is served by a fantastic open kitchen, while a striking infinity pool is poised just above the sea with a sunken poolside bar. A poolside lawn is furnished with comfortable loungers looking out to the water with direct access to the via a rocky path, so pack your protective footwear! Charming restaurants and boutique shopping in Siracusa are within easy reach just across the bay.

Arrival between 16:00 - 21:00. Arrivals between 21 - 24:00 are on request. Departure by 10:00. Changeover day flexible but Saturday departure day between 25 June to 02 September (minimum stay 7 nights).

As one of the quieter destinations on the diverse island of Sicily, the south is home to some of the top, one and two Michellin star restaurants in the country. And it’s no wonder, with the abundance beautiful local produce available. As in all parts of Sicily, there is a contrast in landscape from the marshland of Vendicari to the rebuilt towns of Noto and Ragusa. Siracusa has a tradition in making puppets - buy one as a souvenir or visit the puppet theatre for some light entertainment.
