About the villa
With a cluster of five trulli cones forming the main house, and a modern annexe of four bedrooms just below the pool terrace, this delightful villa is perfect for family get-togethers. Within the rural acres of a private estate, where guests can follow winding tracks through fields to trulli ruins, the house enjoys exceptional tranquillity, set amid lovely sloping lawns, with fig trees and banks of flowers, broad terraces with beautiful views, and a sixteen metre swimming pool with hydro-massage jets. The stone floors, walls and arches of the trulli are home to two bedrooms, two sitting areas, a fully equipped but very country kitchen, and a dining room opening out to a covered veranda, where a barbecue and pizza oven make easy work of al fresco lunches. All six bedrooms have external access and en suite shower room, and there is air conditioning throughout the villa, and plasma TV’s in both the trullo and the annexe. A mix of old world charm and modern comfort, Trulli Ferragosto is well placed for coast and countryside, within easy reach of beaches and several pretty towns, and 7km from shops and eateries in Ceglie Messapica.
