SUP or Kayak Experience

Take to the enchantingly turquoise waters of the Adriatic to explore the beautiful coastline around Otranto, Italy’s easternmost town. Accompanied by a qualified instructor, in either a kayak or on a SUP you’ll start in the sheltered waters of a cove, taking a route along the shoreline that gives you the opportunity to search out hidden coves, rocky shores and picturesque marine caves.

Catamaran Experience

Explore the cerulean waters off Puglia by catamaran, sailing between Polignano a Mare and Monopoli. You can spend a half or full day relaxing on deck, gazing over the sparkling blue to watch the coastline drift gently by. The boat offers every comfort, with large sofas and deck space to lounge or enjoy an aperitivo or lunch on, as well as the trampoline netting which makes the whole ride extra thrilling!

Sunset Boat Cruise

Just five kilometres apart, the cities of Polignano a Mare and Monopoli are both gems of the Adriatic Coast, each marvellous in its own way. View them both from the perfect vantage point, the deck of a sailing boat, and be enchanted by their beauty and history as the final light of the day begins to fade. Then, as the sun sets, enjoy a Puglian aperitivo and the romance of your setting, returning to port as twilight descends.  

Octopus Fishing

Try your hand at octopus fishing, a traditional Puglian skill passed down through generations of fishermen and a perfect example of this region’s strong connection with the sea. Aboard a ‘gozzo’, you can watch your fisherman guide going about his work, searching the shallow, rocky waters for octopuses, or participate in the catch yourself, using a variety of tools like nets and amphorae.  

Fishing & Cooking (only for groups of 10+)

Cast off into the Adriatic with a local fisherman who, in sight of Puglia’s spectacular coastline, will teach you the tricks, techniques and secrets of fishing these crystal clear waters. Use a line to try your hand at catching local species like seabream, red mullet and rainbow wrasse – your catch will return to dry land with you where, with the help of a chef, you’ll turn it into a delicious dinner.

Boat Excursion – Polignano A Mare

Explore along the coastline around Polignano a Mare, a historic town set on a craggy ravine overlooking the Adriatic, which is especially enchanting when viewed from the sea. Your captain will take you on a scenic journey, exploring the rugged cliffs of the coastline and pausing at hidden coves for you to swim in the calm, turquoise waters. Then, sunbath on the deck or enjoy an aperitivo with mesmerising views as you make your way back to port.
