The three bedrooms are furnished with cheerful simplicity, and there are two shower rooms, and two covered dining terraces, one of which now has an impressive fully-equipped outside kitchen with island. All this sits in extensive gardens of lawns, cactus beds and floral borders, which surround the swimming pool with an adjacent gazebo among the olive trees. 

Giù al Trullo is well suited to families with children, offering a peaceful countryside setting with short, manageable outings nearby. Just 3 km away, Cisternino offers a wide selection of shops and restaurants and has a largely traffic‑free historic centre, gentle evening atmosphere, a shaded playground, and its well‑known swings scattered through the old town. Locorotondo is a particularly attractive town a little further away.
