A very attractive combination of traditional architecture and contemporary design, Fico d’India is located in a very private countryside location amongst ancient olive trees, just a short drive (or bicycle ride) from splendid sandy beaches with good beach clubs. The villa opens into a light and open plan space with original vaulted ceilings and sitting area to the left and kitchen with dining area on the right, decorated in a sophisticated neutral colour scheme with natural materials. A second living/TV area has a day bed which can be used  as an additional sleeping area if required, in addition to the three double bedrooms. One of the two bedrooms in the main part of the villa has an en suite shower room and the second bedroom and living areas have use of  the second shower room. A further bedroom with shower room en suite is accessed externally providing additional privacy. Outside there is an extensive covered terrace area with dining area and comfortable soft seating, while a wooden walkway leads from the villa leads to the impressive 12m private pool sunk into a terrace furnished with sun loungers and soft seating. The villa is set in a superb location - just 400m from a superb small restaurant Il Cortiletto, excellent delicatessen and butcher selling an exhaustive range of local specialities, wines and takeaway food. Local beach clubs on the sandy beache and the atmospheric market towns of Ostuni, Cisternino and Ceglie Messapica are easily reached by car.
