About the villa
There’s a sense of mellow serenity in the spacious interiors of this stylish villa, perhaps due to the background sound of the sea splashing on the rocks below, or the attractive use of natural materials which has earned the house a place in distinguished design magazines, or just because it has been planned and styled according to the principles of Feng Shui. Probably all three play their part, complemented by comfortable furnishings, uncluttered earth-toned décor, and a delightful dining terrace, set just above a rock-framed six-seat hot tub, both with blissful views of the bay.An excellent choice for a family or group of friends, the villa’s three air-conditioned bedrooms each have en suite bath or shower room, the ground floor room offering the flexibility of double or twin use, while the upper floor double opens on to a lovely furnished balcony. With rock bathing just below, the villa is within easy strolling distance of Stoupa’s shops, bars and tavernas, and the sandy Stoupa beach.
Neighbouring sister-villa, Pelagia Cottage, could be booked together with the house for larger groups.

Average weather
The Peloponnese is attached to the rest of Greece only by the Isthmus of Corinth and, since 2003, the Rio-Antirio Bridge. The land echoes to a host of famous names, from Mycenae through Ancient Sparta and Olympia, to the Greek War of Independence. Rich in history and mythology, and largely unspoilt, it has a mountainous heart, and fringes of headlands, bays, and sandy beaches. Yet it is surprisingly easy to get around on a Peloponnese holiday, by road and even by rail. The regional line often appears among the world’s most scenic railways.
