About the villa

Château de Bourg stands elegantly among vines and woods, located in a valley in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyards. The chateau sits among a 25-hectare estate and dates back to the 18th century, initially built by a family of notaries from Bourg, though its origins can even be traced back to prehistoric times. Inside, each room is beautifully elegant and wonderfully welcoming. On the ground floor, enjoy a timeless living space, grand dining room and fully-equipped kitchen, plus a unique tasting room. Five double bedrooms can also be found here, each with a queen-size bed. Head upstairs to discover 2 further double rooms. The lower ground floor includes a playroom kitted with some gym equipment, including a bike, an elliptical and a set of weights.

The villa feels beautifully secluded among the vineyards. Outside is a lovely private pool and several spaces to sit and soak up the sun. During your stay, make sure to try some of the chateau's exceptional wines. The wines of Château de Bourg draw their characters from a rich and unique soil, since the vineyard is planted on clay-limestone slopes with varied exposures, making for the presence of numerous micro-climates that influence the character of the wines.
