Your Rights Explained…

Package Holidays

If you book a package holiday with us (in most cases a villa plus flights and/or car hire) you are protected by the 2018 Package Travel Regulations. For that reason, rest assured that your planned holiday, whether a package already booked with us or if planning to book a package since news of the current situation in the Middle East will either go ahead safely as planned, or you will receive a number of options should this not be deemed safe or possible.

If you have booked your flights with us and they are cancelled due to the situation, we will present you with alternative routes to reach your destination so that your holiday can continue as planned, or a full refund if this is not possible.

Should your holiday destination be on the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) list of advice against travel 21 days or less prior to your planned departure date, we will present you with a series of options to choose from. These options will include; a choice of alternative holidays (where possible), a credit against a future holiday or a full refund.

Villa Only Holidays

Customers who have booked accommodation only with us are not covered by the Package Travel Regulations, and thus not entitled to a full refund should your

independently booked flights to your destination be cancelled or should your holiday destination be on the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) list of advice against travel. Should this situation arise, we will look at the options available to you and do all that we can to help. We will talk you through the different routes we can take when the time comes.

If your holiday destination is on the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) list of advice against travel 21 days or less prior to travel, your options will be moving the dates of your holiday to the same villa (subject to availability) or a voucher for travel to that villa if you are unable to decide on dates at that time. Please note that should you move to dates that are at a more expensive time of year, you will be required to cover the difference in price at final balance stage.

For your options and entitlements should you be unable to travel for reasons other than governmental or FCDO advice please see our FAQ’s section below or call us on (0) 207 2615409 to speak with one of our Customer Support Team.

If this situation occurs to you , please contact our Customer Support team on 02072615409. If you wish to cancel or move your holiday our normal terms and conditions will apply (found here). however, our team will do all they can to find alternative solutions for you (where at all possible.)

If your flights are affected by the situation in the Middle East, our Operations Team will be in touch with you to discuss your options. If you do not hear from us, you can be safely reassured that your holiday is going ahead as planned.

You may of course cancel your holiday should you no longer wish to travel however our normal terms and conditions will apply (found here). If you require any paperwork for insurance purposes we will provide this for you. Please contact our Customer Support Team on 02072605409.

Our Operations Team are monitoring the situation closely and will be in touch with you should travel advice change to clearly present your available options at the time. You can also check the travel advice to your destination via the FCDO website here.

No, unfortunately not as the reason for the holiday not continuing is outside the control of us as your tour operator.

You are only entitled to change your holiday destination if the holiday itself is unable to safely proceed as planned according to the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. Refunds are not applicable for Villa Only bookings and all date or location changes are subject to availability, any price increases or extra charges associated with the change will be passed on to you.

Please check with the FCDO the latest advice on travel to Turkey which at time of writing does not advise against travel to the area that CV Villas operate our holidays in. Should the situation change and they advise against all travel to Turkey, then we will be in touch to discuss your options.

If the holiday can be provided but you are unable to travel because of local restrictions, then this does not affect our ability to deliver the holiday ,unless there is specific FCDO advice against travel then our standard terms and conditions would apply. We will do our utmost to provide you with alternative options at the time. In certain circumstances this may not be possible and normal cancellation charges would therefore apply. Please check with your travel insurance provider for details of your cover.
