Within easy reach of the vibrant souks of Marrakech as well as the magnificent scenery of the Atlas Mountains and the Ourika Valley, the villa offers a very private, quiet retreat in a location that allows guests to combines a sophisticated city break with exploring the great outdoors. The villa is built around a traditional courtyard, from which the bedrooms are accessed. Four bedrooms are of a good size with en suite bath or shower rooms and open to the terraces with tables and chairs and to the gardens. A fifth bedroom is slightly smaller. One double and one twin bedroom are accessed off a hallway in a corner of the courtyard and the other two bedrooms are accessed from a second hallway in another corner of the courtyard. One of these is the master bedroom. Each bedroom has a furnished terrace. The rest of the house comprises an elegant sitting room with dining area. French doors opening to the courtyard on one side and terrace with soft seating and  gardens on the other. The kitchen is well equipped and used by the staff and the dining room is accessed from near the kitchen. On the upper level of the house is a fantastic furnished rooftop terrace offering unparalleled panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks of the Atlas Mountains, the perfect place for sundowners after a long day of sightseeing.  

The cook prepares three meals a day. Madja enjoys cooking for the guests immensely, using fresh ingredients from the vegetable patch such as tomatoes and aubergines, as well as lemons and oranges from the trees at the villa. She prepares a variety of dishes from Moroccan tagines and assorted salads, to Moroccan breads and a range of beautiful desserts - her favourite dessert is tart a l'orange. She also enjoys taking a lot of care over the setting in which guests enjoy their meals. The style of the table settings is different for each meal and thoughtfully planned between the dining room and the outdoor terrace. The tables are laid with block printed tablecloths from India and ceramics, glassware and cutlery from Morocco, while freshly cut roses and herbs from the garden add the finishing touches. 

The extensive, beautifully designed gardens have recently been greatly improved with additional lighting and outdoor seating areas. There is table tennis leading to the large private pool with pretty shaded soft seating and pool house. This magnificent property is very popular - early booking is essential.

Important Information

Please note that the owner's Sloughi dog lives at the property. The fully-vaccinated dog lives in the garden by day and her kennel at night and is fed by the house staff. The gardens are 1.7 acres and the dog usually keeps her distance from house guests.

The pool and terraces at this villa are south facing.

Please note that the total occupancy of the villa must not exceed 10 people (including infants).

Guests are looked after by the staff who prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, birthday cakes as requested, and the villa is not available for self-catering. The kitchen is for staff use only but guests can store drinks, snacks and baby foods in the refrigerator. Special dietary requirements and food allergies, dislikes can be accommodated. Please advise on booking.  

Flexible departure day and duration: Minimum stay 4 nights, except for Peak periods of Easter, all school holidays, Christmas and New Year. Please ask for a quotation.

Morocco is an enjoyable destination all-year round with lovely temperatures in the winter months. Our customers also enjoy our villas in Morocco in the summer months due to the dry continental climate. There is low humidity, temperatures drop at night and it is very pleasant in the shade.


Pool heating is recommended from November to the end of April.
