About the villa

Privately screened with tropical greenery and peacefully positioned on Gibbs Beach, Bonavista has the wow factor from the moment you enter the villa. Its serene, open-ended hallway is pink-white with coral stone and pale floor tiles, and has softly lit wall niches, stone turtle footstools, and an archway framing a glimpse of the sea, with an old anchor in the foreground, just for good measure. Equally intriguing, the drawing room has antique mirrors, mahogany tables, a classic oriental rug, and a unique indoor garden nook complete with ornate wall fountain. A broad arch links this elegant room to the villa’s indoor/outdoor living room, a spacious arrangement of sitting, dining and bar areas, all open to the poolside.  And this is complemented, on the upper floor, by a covered, al fresco sitting room with uninterrupted sea views. With a well-equipped kitchen, WiFi, cable TV, and surround sound system, the villa has air conditioning in each of its four en suite bedrooms; while outdoor facilities include a seafront swimming pool, beach shower and barbecue. Speightstown, Holetown and the Royal Westmoreland Golf course are all within 5km.

About the area

St Peter

Average weather

The northernmost parish of Barbados, St. Lucy is known as ‘The Lady’—and is the only one of the eleven parishes named after a female saint. St. Lucy has three distinct coastlines. On the west are its sandy beaches. To the north, cliffside paths lead down to hidden coves. On Barbados holidays in St. Lucy, visit coastal lookout points on the east coast such as Paul’s Point to enjoy panoramic views of the headland. St. Lucy’s inland villages—such as Hope and Spring Garden—are surrounded by sedate pastureland.
