Villa Cortile is one of several very spacious and comfortable fully staffed private villas set in private gardens within the grounds of a small and very special hotel, set in a river valley, sheltered from the desert winds.  All the villas are set in beautiful lush  gardens and their décor showcases the richly coloured exotic fabrics and distinctive tiles that Morocco is well known for. The bedrooms are flexibly furnished and can be made up as either double or twin and are of a consistent size, with air conditioning and either a bath or shower room en suite. The spacious living rooms catch the cooling breezes, and open on to a broad terrace, with al fresco sitting and dining areas, each with a beautiful large pool with Moroccan tiling. 

The four bedrooms at Villa Cortile are accessed from the internal courtyard and some open out to the extensive lawned gardens. Two bedrooms have additional single beds. 

Breakfast is included and for other meals, guests can choose to be independent, shop locally and self-cater,  choose dishes from the villa menu and drinks menu or dine a la carte at the excellent hotel restaurant where barbecues are held on Sundays. Guests can also use the hotel bar and enjoy beauty and wellness treatments in the spa that this special hotel offers. The hotel staff will be pleased to advise on local activities such as surfing, hiking and guided tours of Essaouira and can organise car hire or transfers to explore local beaches and restaurants. There is also a shuttle service to the centre of Essaouira.

Important Information

Occupancy for 9-10 guests: 2 additional single beds will be placed in 2 bedrooms, available free of charge.

Minimum stay: 3 nights apart from 5 nights for the following periods: 01 - 08 January, 07 February - 08 March, 04 April - 31 May, 18 October - 11 November and 19 - 31 December (Christmas and New Year). Minimum stay 1 night 09 January - 06 February, 31 May - 02 July and 21 November - 18 December.

Please note that there is a tourist tax of 38 MAD per person per night payable locally on departure.

The staff at the Hotel reception will welcome you on arrival, are on hand to assist you with the catering options offered at your villa, show you the property. They will also be pleased to answer any queries you have about the hotel restaurant, bar and spa, minivan shuttle service to Essaouira, local beaches, shopping and other activities nearby. They will be  available at the Hotel reception or by telephone during your stay.
