Sapphire is a six bedroom beachfront villa tucked into a quiet, palm‑lined bay on Sri Lanka’s south coast. The garden runs straight down to the sand and the sea is always in view. 

Sapphire is a six bedroom beachfront villa tucked into a quiet, palm‑lined bay on Sri Lanka’s south coast. The garden runs straight down to the sand and the sea is always in view. 

The main living and dining pavilion sits at the centre of the villa, open and welcoming, with clear views across the pool, lawn and ocean beyond. It’s an easy, sociable space where days naturally unfold. The long dining table brings everyone together for relaxed breakfasts, slow lunches and unhurried dinners, with the doors open wide to let the sea air drift through.

All six bedrooms are en suite and airy, dressed in crisp linens with touches of contemporary Sri Lankan art. Two ground‑floor rooms work well for guests who prefer fewer stairs, while four upstairs bedrooms open onto small balconies or terraces with wide ocean views, perfect for a quiet coffee in the morning or a drink as the sun goes down.

The villa is a short drive from Hiriketiya, known for its gentle surf, laid‑back atmosphere and growing collection of cafes, bars and surf schools. Dikwella town is close by for local shops and everyday essentials.

Guests are recommended to discuss their requirements with the Villa Manager and chef and advise of any allergies. We recommend that you decide on the menu for a few days at a time. There is a lot of fish that is available locally. Payment of food is done by a cash float system to pay for ingredients and the transport to get them. As a suggestion budget for US$30 per day per adult for the first couple of days. US$15 for children aged 12 and under. After shopping and or when the float runs out the staff will hand over receipts and any change. It may be more expensive than you think so guests are encouraged to go shopping at least once to get a feel and it is also fun. This is entirely up to you and by no means necessary.
