About the villa

Trulli Lucciola is a stylish and airy trullo property that is both stylish and tastefully simple. The villa boasts a large living and dining area with a fully-equipped kitchen, with large arched glass doors overlooking the greenery-adorned terrace. The villa features four lovely bedrooms, each complete with an en suite and plenty of natural light. Ideal for some much-needed rest and relaxation, the wellness space and sauna under the pool provide the perfect place to get away from it all. Outside, guests will be impressed by the beautifully kept  gardens dotted with trees, plants and winding pathways. The large, private pool is perfectly sun-kissed, with beautiful far reaching views overlooking the Puglian countryside.

The villa is perfectly secluded, yet is located within easy reach of ample shops and restaurants in Cisternino with one of our favourite restaurants Osteria Sant'Anna. Further places of interest include Martina Franca,  Ostuni and Lecce. Sandy beaches with beach clubs are within easy driving distance. Children are sure to enjoy tree climbing, cable slides and rope ladders at the Indiana Adventure Park in Castellana Grotto, as well as a huge ocean pool of open sports, picnic areas and animated events at the largest Water Park in southern Italy: Aquapark Egnazia. Tours, Itineraries and Experiences can be organised throughout the region. There are also  bike and boat excursions available from Poligano. Explore the the sea caves along the jagged coastline of the Adriatic or spot dolphins off the shores of Taranto.

About the area

Average weather

Italy’s sun-kissed south is remote and quiet, with a gorgeous coastline and perfect summer weather that make relaxing in your villa that teeny bit better. Go beyond the lazy villa days, and this southern beauty has a wealth of culture and history that’s just waiting to be explored. Towns here are UNESCO-listed and its tiny trulli houses are world-famous. Discover an olive-tree studded countryside, relax in rural masserias, admire mysterious works of architecture and spend every day indulging in the most simple, but soul-stirring, food.

Please note that there is a European tourist tax payable on arrival. Further details will be advised prior to arrival.

Having a barbecue in Italy is one of the best ways to cook your food but you may find that due to long drought periods in high season barbecuing may be restricted in some areas. You will be informed if this happens by your house staff or local representative.
