Set in four-acre grounds and a short drive from inexpensive restaurants in one of Puglia's most picturesque towns, this villa in Puglia is well equipped and welcoming, with inviting areas for outdoor living and views out over the extensive gardens and countryside. Suitable for one or two couples or family sharing.

About the villa

Just six hundred metres from shops, bars and inexpensive restaurants in the charming 'trulli' town of Alberobello, Trulli Volpe’s private acres echo the local landscape of citrus and olive groves. With wide open views over the countryside, the traditional trulli nestles among the trees, its covered veranda draped in leafy greenery, furnished for outdoor dining and overlooking the swimming pool and sunny terrace. A second al fresco dining table is set under dappled tree shade, adjacent to a built-in barbecue and food preparation area, and flowers spill from countless planters adding colour and character to this lovely house. Inside, with whitewashed walls and painted floorboards, the villa is furnished in comfortable country style including attractive bedsteads so typical of the region’s bucolic style.  An open-plan living room includes a country kitchen with modern appliances, and sitting and dining areas with WiFi and a Bose Soundlink system. And, in addition to the two very spacious double bedrooms, each with their own modern bath or shower room, there are three beds on the upper mezzanine level, ideal for youngsters.

Guests are welcomed by the efficient House Manager and cook service can be pre-booked for a really relaxing break. The villa is 20km from sandy beaches and beach clubs at Capitolo.

Please note that up to 16 June and from 26 August, there are reduced prices available for up to 4 people.

Please state how you would like beds to be made up on the mezzanine on booking. The house is set on a secondary road to Alberobello and there can be some road noise from passing traffic at times. The noise is not intrusive and traffic is not visible. 

Please note that the pool has been re-built and is now 10m x 4m with a very shallow ‘beach area’ border. The depth is now 1.1m to 1.30m. There are three built-in steps to enter the pool. The pool solarium will be partly covered in synthetic grass. New photography of the pool area will be available in Spring 2022.
